I had a wonderful dinner here recently! The ambiance was cozy, making it perfect for a family gathering or a casual date night. I ordered the meatloaf, and it came with a side of perfectly seasoned green beans and mashed potatoes. It was so comforting and reminded me of home-cooked meals. The only thing I hope they’ll improve on is the coffee; it could use a little more flavor. However, the staff was incredibly friendly and made sure we were happy throughout our meal, which really made the experience special. I opted for the fried catfish, and honestly, it was cooked to perfection—crispy on the outside and flaky on the inside. My friend ordered the pot roast, and she couldn’t stop smiling after each bite. The mashed potatoes that accompanied it were creamy and rich. For dessert, we indulged in their homemade pie, which was the perfect sweet ending to our meal. The only suggestion I would have is to maybe add more vegetarian options; my partner had a tough time finding something suitable. But the overall experience was delightful, and the staff was attentive yet unobtrusive, making sure we had everything we needed. I left feeling satisfied and excited to return again soon for more delicious food!
